Conventions

The German Consortium in Statistics' first joint activity was the ‘Statistics under one Umbrella’ convention in Bielefeld, 27th- 30th of March, 2007.

This convention marked the first large joint convention of statisticians in Germany.

Also captioned with ‘Statistics under one Umbrella’ were the 53rd biometric colloquium and the German Statistics Society’s spring convention (Whitsuntide convention), which took place simultaneously.


In 2010, the city of Dortmund was hosting the 2nd convention of the German Consortium in Statistics.

The next convention of the German Consortium in Statistics will take place in 2013 in Freiburg from March 19th until March 22nd. Further information will be available in due time.
